Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Slimefoot, the Stowaway and focuses on aristocrats token strategies using Fungus and Saproling synergies. The game plan ramps out early mana dorks, deploys Slimefoot, and layers token generators with card draw engines like Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into board domination with Tendershoot Dryad, Mirkwood Bats, or Grave Pact, which lock down opposing creature boards while accumulating wide boards of 3/3 Saprolings. The win is finalized around Turn 7 via overwhelming combat damage and massive aristocrat death drains from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Slimefoot. It also contains an infinite token interaction with Life and Limb and Sporemound. The deck generates immense card advantage and recovery through death triggers, though it remains vulnerable to exile sweepers and noncreature stack wins.
