Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Villain tribal midrange strategy led by Thanos, the Mad Titan. It leverages the connive mechanic and low-curve Villain payoffs to continuously loot through the library, deploy evasive tokens, and grow creatures with +1/+1 counters. Thanos sits in the command zone as an asymmetric board wipe and high-stat lifelink attacker, capable of wiping opposing creatures by odd or even mana values on the turn he enters. Strong supporting cards like Leader, Super-Genius, Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord, and Madame Hydra ensure steady resource velocity, while stax elements such as Opposition Agent and Grave Pact restrict opposing recovery. Finishing lines rely on wide combat attacks bolstered by +1/+1 counters from Citizen V, Helmut Zemo and anthem power from The Squadron Sinister or Absorbing Man and Titania, closing the game decisively around Turn 8.
