Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck uses efficient, high-power creatures to discount its commander, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, casting a 12/12 trampler as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. The primary plan curves from early ramp into 4-power and 5-power beaters like Steel Leaf Champion and Wayward Swordtooth, which unlock Ghalta's maximum cost reduction. Once deployed, Ghalta works alongside power doublers like Unnatural Growth and God-Eternal Rhonas to eliminate opponents through overwhelming trample damage over two to three combat turns. The deck features strong creature redundancy and high resilience against single-target blockers, backed by large independent threats like Apex Devastator and Tyrranax Rex. However, its low land count of 28 lands and reliance on top-decked card draw leave it vulnerable to sweepers and resource attrition if its initial board presence is answered.
