Format: Commander

Commander: Grist, the Hunger Tide

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Grist, the Hunger Tide leads an Insect tribal graveyard swarm. The deck mills itself with Grist, Crawling Infestation, Crawling Sensation, and Molt Tender to fill the graveyard with creature cards, then turns that yard into 1/1 Insects with Aatchik, Izoni, Hornet Queen, and The Hunger Tide Rises. Tokens scale with Mazirek, Mirkwood Bats, and Fumulus while Zask and Insidious Roots turn the yard and tokens into mana and recursion. Grist provides removal and a drain finisher with its -5, but the deck wins mainly by going wide in combat or draining the table. No infinite combos; it grinds value until an alpha strike closes the game.
