Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger midrange deck led by Eris, Roar of the Storm. The game plan revolves around rapidly filling the graveyard with instant and sorcery cards of differing mana values during the first three turns. This cost reduction allows Eris to enter early for just two colored mana. Once on the battlefield, the deck triggers Eris's ability by casting two spells each turn cycle, churning out an army of 4/4 flying prowess Dragon Elemental tokens. The deck supports this aggressive token beatdown with cost reducers, magecraft draw engines like Archmage Emeritus, and direct damage amplifiers such as Dragon Tempest and Terror of the Peaks. A deep suite of efficient countermagic and instant-speed removal protects your engine while disrupting opposing strategies, leading to a lethal air assault around Turn 7.
