Deck overview

Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advisor turns a growing Aura board into both cost reduction and card flow. The deck normally develops lands and early mana, casts the commander, then builds a protected creature with cheap Auras. Once several Auras are in play, expensive finishers become affordable: Super State grants haste and spreads combat damage, while Eldrazi Conscription and a double-strike Aura can raise one attack above 40 damage to every opponent. The deck has strong thematic focus and several Aura tutors, but its ordinary access is slower than competitive combo decks. It must keep the commander and Aura stack on the battlefield for several turns, and many answers can interrupt that buildup. Protection is useful against targeted destruction, but the deck remains vulnerable to exile, bounce, sacrifice effects, mass enchantment removal, and disruption before the final attack.
