Commander: Ashnod the Uncaring

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis artifact-sacrifice engine helmed by Ashnod the Uncaring, whose trigger doubles any activated ability that sacrificed a permanent. The deck's core loop is to churn cheap artifacts - eggs, spellbombs, clues, and tokens - through recursion engines like Salvaging Station, Goblin Welder, Scrap Trawler, and Daretti, Scrap Savant, converting every sacrifice into cards, mana, and drain. With Ashnod on board, each sacrifice outlet fires twice: Time Sieve yields two extra turns, Kuldotha Forgemaster and Repurposing Bay find two artifacts, and drain effects like Marionette Master and Disciple of the Vault convert the churn into lethal reach. The primary wins are Time Sieve loops plus artifact-drain, or Krark-Clan Ironworks + Scrap Trawler recursion into a Makeshift Munitions/Pyrite Spellbomb outlet, with Scrap Mastery as a one-sided reset. A dense tutor package keeps the engines findable.
