Format: Commander

Commander: Lord of the Nazgûl

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Lord of the Nazgul is a UB instant/sorcery combo-control deck. The primary plan is to resolve Demonic Consultation, name Thassa's Oracle, exile the library, and cast Oracle to win, all for three mana; this line does not require the commander. The secondary plan is a Wraith token army: each instant or sorcery creates a 3/3 menace Wraith, and reaching nine Wraiths makes them all 9/9 for a turn. The commander is both a token engine and a possible beatdown finisher. There is no hidden commander. The deck supports both plans with a dense cantrip/tutor package, a strong countermagic suite, and cheap interaction.
