Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck executes a multiplayer infect and proliferate game plan backed by targeted interaction and resource denial. The primary strategy applies early poison counters to every opponent using low-cost toxic and infect creatures or unblockable non-combat poison spells. Once opponents are poisoned, the deck deploys Atraxa alongside redundant proliferate engines to tick up poison totals each turn cycle without needing continued combat connections. Stax pieces like Winter Orb and Oppression slow down opposing development while Atraxa's vigilance and mana rocks break parity. The deck generates consistent mid-game pressure and recovers rapidly through its commander, though its reliance on creature-based proliferate engines leaves it exposed to sweepers.
