Deck overview

This is a midrange Rakdos tribal deck built around The Great Goblin. Counter placement triggers direct damage, while other Goblins dying exile cards for temporary access. The list supports that plan with amass effects, sacrifice outlets, death payoffs, token makers, and a few large damage effects. Boggart Mischief, Boggart Cursecrafter, Mauhúr, Uruk-hai Captain, and Skirk Prospector are especially useful together. The deck can assemble a functioning value engine around turn 5, but the engine does not quickly become lethal. It has no supported infinite combo, extra-turn chain, hard lock, or reliable table-wide finisher. Its interaction is mostly creature removal and a few sweepers, while its protection is limited to regeneration and indestructible effects. It is best played as a resilient combat-and-attrition deck that builds a board, converts expendable Goblins into mana or cards, and uses commander triggers to pressure life totals.
