A Concering Hobbit by Biff

Format: Commander

Commander: Bilbo, Thief in the Night

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bilbo, Thief in the Night commands a mono-blue spellslinger and graveyard-tempo deck that converts aggressive attacks into mana advantage and card recursion. Bilbo reduces the cost of spells cast from zones other than your hand by one mana and lets you cast an instant, sorcery, or artifact from your graveyard whenever he attacks. You support this plan using cheap evasion equipment, self-mill, and cantrips to fill the graveyard with potent targets. The deck wins by generating overwhelming card advantage through repeated graveyard casting, swarming the board with Drake and Bird tokens, chaining extra-turn spells, or executing an infinite loop with Ghostly Flicker and Mystic Sanctuary.
