Deck overview

Umbris, Fear Manifest is an exile/mill value deck that turns cards opponents own in exile into a giant Nightmare. The primary plan is to cast Umbris and repeatedly trigger his enters ability with other Horrors, Nightmares, and flicker effects so each opponent exiles from the top of the library, growing Umbris before he attacks for 21 commander damage. A secondary theft/mill package (Ashiok, Thief of Sanity, Dauthi Voidwalker) uses that exile as a resource; Essence Harvest and Rite of Consumption offer burst kills. It is not a combo deck. The main internal risks are a low land count and a commander-centric win, so the deck leans on its strong interaction suite to buy time.
