Deck overview

This is a competitive Dimir combo-control deck built around Thassa's Oracle and a library-exile spell, primarily Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. The deck uses fast mana, extensive tutoring, cantrips, and card engines to assemble the two roles while keeping up interaction. Its strongest ordinary line reaches a usable setup around turn 4 and can win immediately: cast Thassa's Oracle, put its trigger on the stack, then empty the library before that trigger resolves. Force of Will, Force of Negation, Fierce Guardianship, Pact of Negation, and several inexpensive counters protect the critical window. Talion, the Kindly Lord is a useful draw-and-drain commander but is not required for the primary win. Necropotence, Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study, and Ad Nauseam provide powerful alternative card flow. The main weaknesses are reliance on specific combo roles, exposure to countermagic and trigger interaction, and limited proactive denial compared with dedicated stax decks.
