Deck overview

This Marchesa, Dealer of Death deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Storm list that weaponizes the crime mechanic to generate steady card advantage and graveyard velocity. By targeting opposing permanents, graveyards, or hands with efficient spells and repeatable enablers like Glasses of Urza and Ghost Vacuum, Marchesa continuously filters the top of the library into hand and graveyard. The deck leverages dense mana acceleration and ritual velocity (Dark Ritual, Cabal Ritual, Jeska's Will) to assemble a fast combo win centered around Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze or a resolved Peer into the Abyss. Supported by free interaction like Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Deadly Rollick, along with uncounterable insurance from Hexing Squelcher, the deck transitions seamlessly from reactive control to an explosive single-turn table kill.
