Deck overview

This is a casual mono-black combat deck centered on Gonti, Night Minister. It uses evasive creatures and menace to connect in combat, then converts those connections into access to opposing cards. Equipment such as Bloodforged Battle-Axe, Buster Sword, Champion's Helm, and Whispersilk Cloak improves combat and protects or accelerates threats. The deck also contains creature sweepers, search effects, and a few ways to reuse creatures. Its main weakness is that the theft engine creates incremental advantage rather than a deterministic win. Valgavoth, Terror Eater and Strixhaven Stadium are meaningful late-game threats, but neither is reliably assembled early enough to define the game. The mana base supports normal development, with occasional boosts from Sol Ring, Dark Ritual, and Cabal Coffers, but the list lacks dense fast mana, broad protection, and a compact finish.
