Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet artifact storm deck commanded by Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. The primary strategy revolves around accelerating Jhoira onto the battlefield on Turn 3 or 4, then chaining 0-mana and low-cost historic artifacts to draw through the deck in a single explosive turn. Cost reducers such as Etherium Sculptor, Foundry Inspector, and Semblance Anvil make artifacts free to cast, while mana generators like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Urza, Lord High Artificer convert storm count into positive mana. Mass bounce spells including Retract, Hurkyl's Recall, and Paradoxical Outcome allow the deck to reset and replay its entire board, drawing dozens of cards and building massive storm count. The game is closed out with Aetherflux Reservoir, Reckless Fireweaver, or Grapeshot. While exceptionally explosive, the strategy is heavily commander-dependent and vulnerable to well-timed creature removal or artifact hate.
