Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura control and attrition strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The primary game plan revolves around neutralizing opposing threats by attaching low-cost disabling Auras like Darksteel Mutation, Planar Disruption, and Heliod's Punishment to opposing creatures. Eriette converts these pacification effects into a pillowfort defense, preventing all enchanted creatures from attacking you while draining each opponent and gaining life at your end step proportional to the number of Auras you control. The deck scales its clock using life-loss amplifiers such as Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Vizkopa Guildmage, while maintaining engine velocity through enchantress draw engines and robust graveyard recursion spells like Replenish and Retether. It excels at stifling combat-oriented pods and grinding out victories through non-combat life swings.
