Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal strategy commanded by The Ur-Sphinx. It leverages eminence to reduce the cost of all Sphinxes from the command zone. Supported by 2-CMC mana rocks and cost reducers like Urza's Incubator and Herald's Horn, the deck accelerates into powerful engine pieces like Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign by Turn 4. Unesh triggers mini Fact or Fiction effects on every subsequent Sphinx, rapidly drawing through the library and filling the board with massive flying threats. The deck applies pressure on Turn 6 with high-impact creatures such as Magister Sphinx, Tivit, Seller of Secrets, and Consecrated Sphinx. It finishes opponents through overwhelming aerial combat damage and free spells cast off The Ur-Sphinx attack triggers by Turn 8. Efficient interaction like Cyclonic Rift, Swords to Plowshares, and Dovin's Veto protects the board while disrupting opposing strategies.
