Deck overview

This deck is a focused Simic ramp and token-doubling strategy centered on Koma, World-Eater. The game plan accelerates mana rapidly during the first three turns using efficient land search and mana artifacts. By Turn 4, the deck taps seven mana to deploy its commander, which enters with built-in uncounterability and ward {4}. On Turn 5, Koma attacks to deal substantial trample damage and create four 3/3 Serpent tokens. The deck rapidly compounds this advantage using token doublers like Parallel Lives and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, or clone effects such as Spark Double and Helm of the Host. A wide suite of Sea Monster synergies, including Spawning Kraken and Serpent of Yawning Depths, ensures that Serpent tokens bypass blockers and overwhelm defenses. While vulnerable to non-targeted sweepers, the deck features redundant backup threats and cheap protection spells to secure decisive combat victories by Turn 7.
