Format: Commander

Commander: Minthara, Merciless Soul

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Minthara, Merciless Soul is a scaling anthem that converts every fetchland crack, blink, and sacrifice into experience counters, while Aang, Airbending Master serves as the deck's hidden commander by generating an Ally each upkeep per counter. Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward adds a second token/ETB axis, and the deck can shift between a wide combat finish-accelerated by War of the Last Alliance's double strike-and a blink-combo finish using Preston, the Vanisher plus Felidar Guardian to loop infinite ETBs with Corpse Knight, or with Aang to bank infinite experience counters. Tutors and recursion make the transition reliable. There is no double-faced commander; Emeritus of Woe // Demonic Tutor is a flexible tutor/creature rather than the build-around.
