Deck overview

This deck is a focused Grixis discard-and-punish control deck commanded by Kefka, Court Mage. The strategy revolves around breaking parity on symmetrical discard effects. By forcing each player to discard cards while drawing multiple fresh cards off Kefka's enter-the-battlefield and attack triggers, the deck rapidly empties opposing hands while maintaining a full grip. Discard punishers such as Liliana's Caress, Megrim, Bandit's Talent, and Entropic Battlecruiser convert hand destruction into rapid life drain. Meanwhile, game-warping stax and attrition engines like Tergrid, God of Fright, Oppression, and Narset, Parter of Veils strip opposing development and lock the board down. The deck finishes games through cumulative rack damage, combat with high-power threats, or an infinite drain loop between transformed Kefka, Ruler of Ruin and Psychosis Crawler. Efficient Grixis interaction and reanimation back up this oppressive gameplan.
