Yannik and Nikara Partners by Sagester

Format: Commander

Commander: Nikara, Lair Scavenger and Yannik, Scavenging Sentinel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan partner deck is a +1/+1 counter engine built around Nikara's draw trigger and Yannik's exile-and-distribute ability. The primary plan is to put counters on a creature, exile it with Yannik, draw with Nikara, then blink Yannik to repeat the loop and grow a Champion of Lambholt into an unblockable finisher. Secondary paths include Corpse Knight/Siege Rhino drain and a go-wide Cathars' Crusade team. Both partners matter equally; there is no hidden commander. The deck wins through incremental combat damage and ETB value rather than combo, using blink spells both to protect the board and to multiply triggers.
