Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Flash Tempo-Control list helmed by Alela, Cunning Conqueror that wins through compact combo finishes. The deck excels at operating on opponents' turns, using instant-speed interaction and flash creatures to generate 1/1 flying Faerie Rogue tokens while triggering card-draw engines like Wavebreak Hippocamp and Rhystic Study. Offensively, combat damage from Faeries goads opposing creatures, forcing opponents to attack each other and keeping the player safe. The primary path to victory is the compact Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation combo, which wins the game on the spot for three mana. A secondary combo in Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond provides an alternate infinite drain win condition. With free countermagic like Force of Will and Pact of Negation, the deck protects its own life total and its combo turns while disrupting opposing strategies with surgical efficiency.
