Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Selesnya tribal beatdown deck centered on Cats and Dogs, lifegain triggers, and +1/+1 counter distribution. Helmed by Kwia Vigorbloom, the deck converts routine lifegain triggers into Black Lotus mana tokens that accelerate mid-to-late game board deployment. The core plan establishes early board presence through low-cost creatures like Ocelot Pride, Leonin Vanguard, and Ajani's Pridemate, supported by efficient two-mana land ramp. In the midgame, token creators like Sally Pride, Lioness Leader, Regal Caracal, and Felidar Retreat expand the battlefield, while scaling engines such as Cathars' Crusade, Archangel of Thune, and Beastmaster Ascension turn small tokens into lethal combat threats. Decisive finishes arrive via overwhelming combat steps using Triumph of the Hordes, Overwhelming Stampede, or Jazal Goldmane. With Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar and Basri, Tomorrow's Champion providing targeted shielding, the deck steadily overwhelms multiplayer pods through resilient, compounding creature combat.
