Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity colorless artifact strategy that pairs asymmetric stax pieces with fast infinite combo finishes. Powered by premier acceleration including Mishra's Workshop, Ancient Tomb, Mana Vault, and Sol Ring, the deck rapidly establishes a commanding mana advantage. It slows opposing interaction and development using oppressive lock pieces like Winter Orb, Static Orb, Trinisphere, and Karn, the Great Creator, while breaking parity through mana rocks and historic triggers that untap Traxos, Scourge of Kroog. The primary win condition revolves around generating infinite colorless mana via Basalt Monolith paired with Forsaken Monument or Rings of Brighthearth, converting that mana into an immediate table kill with Walking Ballista or card draw loops from Staff of Domination. Robust card advantage engines like The One Ring and Mystic Forge sustain high velocity, while Voltron equipment provides an effective backup clock.
