Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages Oloro, Ageless Ascetic to guarantee passive lifegain from the command zone, fueling an aggressive +1/+1 counter and drain engine. Early turns establish lifegain enablers like Soul Warden and Ajani's Welcome alongside scaling threats like Voice of the Blessed and Bloodthirsty Aerialist. Midgame transitions turn life totals into an offensive resource through Enduring Tenacity, Heliod, Sun-Crowned, and Bolas's Citadel. The deck protects its growing board with efficient instant-speed shielding such as Restoration Magic and Duty Beyond Death, bypassing blockers with Herald of Secret Streams. While the list lacks fast tutors and infinite combos, it compensates with redundant synergy pieces, resilient Glimmer enchantments, and steady attrition from Witch of the Moors and Aclazotz, Deepest Betrayal. It closes games reliably around Turn 8 through overwhelming aerial combat and direct life drain.
