Deck overview

This Mardu deck is commanded by Isshin, Two Heavens as One and centers on overwhelming opponents through doubled attack triggers. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with low-cost mana rocks before casting Isshin on Turn 3. On Turn 4, it deploys potent token generators such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, or Hero of Bladehold, immediately generating a wide army of attacking tokens. On Turn 5, payoff creatures like Mishra, Claimed by Gix, Arabella, Abandoned Doll, or Caesar, Legion's Emperor turn that army into lethal table-wide life drain and combat damage. A dense black tutor suite ensures reliable access to needed pieces, while Grand Abolisher and Boros Charm defend the board during decisive turns. The deck also includes a backup infinite combat loop using Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host, providing multiple resilient avenues to victory.
