New Untitled Deck by Bamboogie

Format: Commander

Commander: Vhati il-Dal

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vhati il-Dal is a -1/-1 counter and toughness-hosing control commander. The deck uses Vhati's tap ability to turn any creature into a 1/1 or a 1-toughness creature, then finishes it with Pestilence, Thrashing Wumpus, Cuombajj Witches, or Caltrops. The real engine is hidden commander Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons: she, Nest of Scarabs, and Blowfly Infestation form an infinite -1/-1 death loop that Blood Artist, Poison-Tip Archer, or Obelisk Spider converts into a drain kill. A secondary life-swap line uses Tree of Perdition plus Vhati and Pestilence. Board control and incremental drain keep the game slow until the combo lands.
