Deck overview

This mono-red deck is a high-risk, high-reward combo-burn engine built around Ashling the Pilgrim. The core plan is to generate an explosive burst of red mana with rituals, then activate Ashling's ability three times in a single turn while a damage multiplier (e.g. Furnace of Rath, Fiery Emancipation) is on the battlefield. The third activation removes all +1/+1 counters from Ashling and deals that much damage to each creature and each player - with a doubler that's 6 damage to everyone, enough to end the game. Secondary win conditions include Heartless Hidetsugu with the same doublers, Toralf, God of Fury chaining excess damage, or Chandra's Ignition on an indestructible creature like Brash Taunter or Stuffy Doll. The deck is packed with rituals, damage amplifiers, and a thin shell of protection equipment and interaction. It can win out of nowhere but is extremely vulnerable to disruption and has very little card advantage.
