Angels by Madm1guel

Format: Commander

Commander: Giada, Font of Hope

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Angel tribal build helmed by Giada, Font of Hope. The primary game plan is to deploy a swarm of Angel creatures with the help of cost reducers like Urza's Incubator, Herald's Horn, and Starnheim Aspirant, while leveraging Giada's mana ability to accelerate the curve. The commander also provides +1/+1 counters to each Angel that enters after the first, creating a rapidly growing board. Life gain is a secondary theme, with payoffs such as Resplendent Angel, Valkyrie Harbinger, Archangel of Thune, and Angel of Destiny - the latter offering an alternate win condition when life is 15 above starting. The deck wins primarily through combat damage, using Akroma's Will or Avacyn, Angel of Hope to push through a lethal board. Recursion from Emeria Shepherd, Emeria, the Sky Ruin, and Bruna, the Fading Light provides resilience against wipes.
