Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait is the engine of this Simic landfall deck: extra land drops feed his landfall draw, while landfall token makers convert lands into a board. There is no hidden second commander face; the deck is built around casting Aesi, then chaining extra land plays, fetchlands, and bounce lands into card advantage and creature tokens. Secondary engines such as Oracle of Mul Daya, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, and Tatyova, Benthic Druid keep it functioning if Aesi is answered.
