Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 4-color (non-green) Polymorph Control list commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan revolves around generating inexpensive creature or planeswalker tokens in the early game via cards like Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and Black Market Connections. On Turn 4 or 5, the commander enters the battlefield and immediately uses its −3 loyalty ability to exile a token and flip directly into one of the 99's massive, game-warping threats—including Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, and Blightsteel Colossus. The deck protects its setup using commander-enabled free interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick while layering stax-like combat taxes and asymmetric sweepers. Once a praetor or colossus resolves, the resulting resource disparity and heavy combat pressure dismantle opposing boards, eliminating the table over two combat rotations.
