Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Enchantress strategy that uses Eriette, the Beguiler to turn Auras into permanent-theft spells. By attaching an Aura to an opposing permanent with equal or lower mana value, you gain control of that permanent for as long as the Aura remains attached. The deck supports this game plan with a dense suite of cheap Auras, cost reducers, and enchantress card-draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer. Once you establish control over the board, you pivot into a Voltron combat strategy by stacking stat-boosting and evasion Auras onto Eriette, Zur the Enchanter, or Bruna, Light of Alabaster. Multi-layered protection Auras like Spectra Ward, Diplomatic Immunity, and Shielded by Faith keep your primary threat safe from opposing removal. The deck finishes games by eliminating opponents with commander damage, asymmetric board wipes like Winds of Rath, and combat finishers like Akroma's Will.
