Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Voltron strategy built around Blor the Impervious. Blor enters the battlefield with trample, hexproof, and indestructible, providing an exceptionally resilient threat that ignores targeted removal and damage-based sweepers. The deck leverages dense low-cost mana acceleration to deploy Blor ahead of curve on turn 3 or 4. Once Blor resolves, the game plan focuses on rapidly scaling its power using efficient Equipment like Belt of Giant Strength and Blackblade Reforged, counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and The Earth Crystal, and damage doublers such as Inquisitor's Flail and Unnatural Growth. Massive power-scaling card draw spells like Return of the Wildspeaker and Rishkar's Expertise keep resources flowing. While single-target commander damage requires multiple combat steps to eliminate a full pod, Blor's innate resilience forces opponents to find specialized non-targeting, non-destroying answers to avoid elimination.
