Deck overview

Bruvac the Grandiloquent doubles every mill event, and the deck is built entirely around that multiplier: landfall crabs, mass-mill sorceries, and the half-library spells all become lethal under him. The cleanest kill is a kicked Maddening Cacophony for six mana, which with Bruvac in play mills every opponent's entire library at once. If that line is unavailable, the artifact loop of Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal can generate infinite untaps and mana, then kill with Blue Sun's Zenith or Brain Freeze, while self-mill Jace/Laboratory Maniac/Thassa's Oracle serve as a fallback. Bruvac is essential to the fast mill plan, but the deck has enough independent engines that he is not a literal bottleneck; there is no hidden commander.
