Deck overview

This Boros spell-slinger list is built around Lorehold, the Historian's static miracle grant and upkeep loot engine, fueled by a critical mass of sixteen Dragon's Approach. The core loop discards and redraws into cheap miracle casts, fills the graveyard with Approaches, then exiles five of them to cheat a Dragon-ideally Velomachus Lorehold-onto the battlefield. Velomachus turns every attack into a free instant or sorcery, chaining burn, copies, and card flow. Secondary finishers include a second cast of Approach of the Second Sun (often miracled for {2}), go-wide 5/5s from Rite of the Dragoncaller, and ping pressure from Longshot, Rebel Bowman and Thor, God of Thunder. The deck plays as a midrange spell engine that converts redundant red burn into Dragon cheating and eventual table-wide damage rather than a tight infinite combo deck.
