Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Orzhov stax and combo archetype piloted by Teysa, Orzhov Scion. It leverages dense fast mana acceleration and unconditional tutors to establish early asymmetric locks before pivoting into compact instant-speed win conditions. On Turns 1–2, hatebears like Drannith Magistrate, Dauthi Voidwalker, and Opposition Agent restrict opponents from casting commanders, searching libraries, or utilizing graveyards. Meanwhile, the deck sets up its primary combo by assembling Teysa, Orzhov Scion, Darkest Hour (or Painter's Servant), a free sacrifice outlet like Viscera Seer, and a drain piece like Blood Artist. Because Darkest Hour colors all creature tokens black, sacrificing a Spirit creates an infinite loop of death triggers that drains the table on Turn 3. If Teysa is targeted, the deck seamlessly transitions into its independent Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista infinite damage combo.
