Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Atraxa control build that combines asymmetric stax pieces with planeswalker engines and proliferate synergies. The early turns focus on deploying 2-mana ramp into oppressive stax anchors such as Drannith Magistrate, Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, and Ashiok, Dream Render, which stifle opposing tutors, draws, and commander casts. Once the table's tempo is throttled, the deck deploys Atraxa, Praetors' Voice alongside high-utility planeswalkers like Teferi, Hero of Dominaria and Liliana, Dreadhorde General. Proliferate engines accelerate planeswalkers toward game-ending ultimate abilities or distribute lethal poison counters with Prologue to Phyresis. The deck protects its board through premier phasing spells like Clever Concealment and Ripples of Potential, ensuring planeswalkers keep their accumulated loyalty through opposing sweepers. It consistently establishes a lock by Turn 5 and closes the game by Turn 7.
