Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet artifact tokens and spellslinger deck commanded by Saheeli, Jewel of Avishkar. The primary game plan converts noncreature spells—such as cheap mana rocks, cantrips, and utility enchantments—into an evasive swarm of 1/1 flying Thopter artifact creature tokens. Because Saheeli gives Thopters innate haste, new tokens immediately threaten opposing life totals without waiting a turn cycle. The deck fuels its hand through efficient blue cantrips like Ponder and Preordain, as well as combat-driven draw engines like Bident of Thassa and Thopter Spy Network. It converts this wide board into a game-ending win using mass-pump anthems such as Shared Animosity, Craterclaw Colossus, and Banner of Kinship, backed by direct damage triggers from Impact Tremors and Reckless Fireweaver. A suite of low-cost countermagic and targeted removal protects key setup pieces while disrupting opposing threats.
