Nekusar by user9459891

Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Nekusar, the Mindrazer is the entire engine: the deck forces extra draws with Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, Dictate of Kruphix, and Seizan, then converts every opponent draw into damage with Nekusar, Sheoldred, Ob Nixilis, Fate Unraveler, and Kederekt Parasite. The primary kill is a wheel - Wheel and Deal, Time Spiral, Whispering Madness, or Incendiary Command - after an amplifier is on board. Secondary paths include Psychosis Crawler plus Peer into the Abyss, Triskaidekaphile's thirteen-card hand win, and Field of the Dead tokens. The commander's role is both draw engine and burn source; there is no hidden commander. The deck is a classic group-hug burn deck that wants to resolve one big draw spell with Nekusar and a damage doubler.
