Deck overview

This deck is a focused Selesnya go-wide aggro strategy helmed by Bast, Panther Goddess. The game plan revolves around rapidly establishing a broad board of creature tokens using efficient generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, and Ocelot Pride. Once at least three creatures are in play, Bast unlocks her combat capabilities, granting a massive +X/+X bonus to an attacking creature on every combat step. This turns small tokens or Bast herself into lethal trample threats. The mana base and ramp curve enable a consistent Turn 4 deployment of Bast, setting up a critical combat onset on Turn 5. Supported by token doublers like Parallel Lives and game-ending overruns like Craterhoof Behemoth and Akroma's Will, the deck applies relentless pressure across multiple combat rotations. While vulnerable to mass exile or bounce wipes, strong defensive spells like Heroic Intervention and Grand Crescendo help safeguard the board to close out the game by Turn 7.
