Deck overview

This is a focused Dimir Rogue tribal deck helmed by Anowon, the Ruin Thief, built to pressure opponents with an army of unblockable creatures while draining their libraries and drawing cards. The core loop is deceptively simple: deploy cheap evasive Rogues, attack to mill cards with Anowon's trigger, and convert milled creature cards into card advantage. A secondary draw engine suite (Sygg, River Cutthroat, Kindred Discovery, Notion Thief) keeps the hand full, while lord effects like Stinkdrinker Bandit and anthem artifacts like Banner of Kinship pump the team. The deck lacks infinite combos and instead wins through incremental combat damage, mill, and the occasional explosive extra turn from Notorious Throng. Interaction is lean but serviceable, with 6 counterspells and a mix of spot removal and graveyard hate. The mana base is slow (many tapped lands) but functional. Anowon is the central value engine; without him the deck is a pile of tiny unblockable creatures, making his protection a priority.
