Niv-Mizzet by DG9

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Parun

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a spellslinger control-combo deck built around Niv-Mizzet, Parun. The primary plan is to slow the table with a dense counter suite and repeatable draw, land Niv on turn four, then convert every instant or sorcery into a card and a damage trigger. The finish is the classic Curiosity/Ophidian Eye/Tandem Lookout loop: once Niv has an enabler, any instant or sorcery cast creates infinite pings. Secondary paths are commander beats and Vivi/Gandalf incidental pings, not true win conditions. There is no hidden commander; both halves of the deck serve the single Niv plan, and the commander is the engine and win condition.
