Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 4-color Polymorph Control deck piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list minimizes conventional creature counts in the 99, running only 11 game-ending creature and planeswalker bombs such as Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, and Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. Cheap token producers like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls supply fodder. On turn 4, Jace enters and uses his -3 ability to exile a token and flip directly into a heavyweight finisher. Supported by dense 2-CMC artifact ramp, resilient board protection like Flawless Maneuver, and premium interaction including Farewell, Toxic Deluge, and countermagic, the deck controls the pace of play. Once dominant threats are cheated into play, combat steps and attrition drain close out the table by turn 7.
