This Feather, the Redeemed deck is a highly synergistic Boros spellslinger shell that leverages low-cost targeted instants to generate immense card advantage and combat pressure. By targeting your own creatures, Feather exiles resolving instants and returns them to hand at the beginning of each end step. This creates an engine where single-mana cantrips like Defiant Strike and protection spells like Gods Willing become repeatable engines usable on every player's turn. Secondary engines like Young Pyromancer, Monastery Mentor, and Storm-Kiln Artist turn these cheap casts into wide armies and surplus mana. The deck wins by stacking power buffs and double strike via Unleash Fury and Temur Battle Rage for lethal commander damage, or by overrunning opponents with an army of prowess tokens, typically closing out the game around Turn 8.
