Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal ramp deck helmed by Tiamat. The core plan is to accelerate into the seven-mana commander, resolve her cast trigger for five differently named Dragons, then deploy that payload with cost reducers and cheat outlets. Wins are combat-first: extra combat steps from Hellkite Charger and Scourge of the Throne, doubled by Atarka, World Render and funded by Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, Savage Ventmaw, and Old Gnawbone. Dragon Tempest and Terror of the Peaks turn every Dragon entering into direct damage, while Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Utvara Hellkite explode the board into a lethal air force. Tiamat is the access engine, not a combo piece; the 99 can still curve out Dragons through ramp, Sneak Attack, and Ureni of the Unwritten, but losing her costs the five-card tutor that assembles the extra-combat finishers. Recasting at nine-plus mana is painful, with Command Beacon as the one clean reset.
