Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Sultai Elfball combo strategy commanded by Thranduil, the Elvenking. The core game plan blends explosive Elf mana acceleration with targeted graveyard tutoring. By leveraging cards like Buried Alive, Entomb, and Unmarked Grave, the deck places key utility Elves—specifically Devoted Druid, Priest of Titania, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader—directly into the graveyard. When Thranduil enters the battlefield, he inherits these activated abilities. Using Devoted Druid's untap cost and Priest of Titania's mana production, Thranduil generates infinite green mana, which Ezuri's pump ability converts into infinite power, toughness, and trample. The deck complements this primary win line with a compact Staff of Domination backup infinite, dense card draw engines like The One Ring and Rhystic Study, and a top-tier interaction suite featuring Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship. The deck consistently threatens protected same-turn victories around Turn 4.
