Dina, Soul Steeper by Brandonh62

Format: Commander

Commander: Dina, Soul Steeper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a BG lifegain-and-drain deck that uses Dina, Soul Steeper as the central payoff. The primary plan is to turn incidental life gain into one point of life loss per opponent, then land an infinite loop such as Exquisite Blood with Dina/Vito/Sanguine Bond, or Witherbloom Apprentice with Chain of Smog. Secondary paths are aristocrats death-drain and Pest token recursion, with Exsanguinate or Blossoming Bogbeast as a fallback finisher. Dina doubles as a sacrifice outlet, but she is replaceable by several 99 payoffs, so no hidden commander exists. The double-faced cards in the 99 (Valentin/Lisette, Sephiroth, Pestilent Cauldron) are support pieces rather than the focus of the deck.
