Aragorn, Voltron King by Spades

Format: Commander

Commander: Aragorn, King of Gondor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Aragorn, King of Gondor is the committed voltron target. The deck uses his monarch trigger to turn on his own "creatures can't block" clause, then piles large Equipment-especially Colossus Hammer and Swordsman's Steel-onto him with free-attach effects like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Thorin, Mountain-king, and Hammer of Nazahn. Secondary paths include a generic Equipment-matters draw engine (Sram, Puresteel Paladin, Kili, The Mighty Thor), Aurelia's extra combat to compress the clock, and a Monarch/recursion shell that reuses artifacts with Tiana, Teleportation Circle, and Heart-Shaped Herb. There is no hidden DFC commander; Ardenn operates as the hidden commander, supplying the free attach that makes the deck fast.
