Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos poison and proliferate strategy commanded by Ingris Stingerquill. The core plan uses Ingris's ability to deal direct noncombat damage whenever your creatures attack. When paired with creatures that have infect or toxic, each attack trigger assigns poison counters directly to all opponents at once, bypassing traditional combat blockers. Once all opponents have initial poison counters, the deck leverages a dense suite of proliferate engines, including Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Contagion Engine, and Staff of Compleation, to rapidly escalate poison totals to lethal thresholds. Aristocrat elements such as Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Nest of Scarabs keep opposing boards clear while card draw engines like The One Ring and Black Market Connections maintain hand velocity. Efficient disruption spells like Deadly Rollick and Deflecting Swat protect key pieces as the deck closes out the game across two turn cycles.
